Okay.. I'm wanting to put all the music I have on my ipod onto my new laptop... but I'm afraid of trashing it out. Most of my music (all mp3 files) are from limewire. Is it possible that some of the mp3 files could have viruses or spyware in them... or is that impossible? I just wanted to make sure they'd be 100% safe before putting them on my laptop.

^ anything is possible, i guess, but i'm not sure.
 i tried installing limewire. it said that it couldn't complete because there was a corrupted file, and/or virus. or something to that effect, i don't remember the exact message. but thenn.... my friend was able to download it for me, and it worked..  well, i don't know. i think you should just buy it, safest thing there is to do. plus, you can't get caught, cos buying music is legal.
