I have seen so many ways for last names when people get married; I adore it. I still haven't decided which I will do (if and/or when I get married). I'm not exactly hesitant to give up my current last name, but the whole "husband's surname-wife's surname" combination appeals to me.

My mom kept her last name, as did my maternal grandmother. I don't think it should matter. You have that choice when you are married; it's not as if you must change it. Do what you want.
![]() I'm not changing mine. I will forever be known as Mona Lisa. My husband will take my last name. End of story. What if he doesn't agree/like it?
