I'm so sure that I completely slaughtered that quote from Hotel Rwanda, but I'm pretty sure I got the essence. In the scene, they are watching the video they had made of the violence and killings occuring butween the Hutus and the Tutsis. Don Cheadle's character is sure that broadcasting the video in America will cause change in Rwanda; but alas, change is slow to happen when the poor, not the rich, are suffering. What have you done to end suffering in this world? How have you made the world a better place? |

Talking about all this overrated crud?
Well to keep on point. When I was 16 I was an assistant for a guidance counselor at Boys and Girls club. When the guidance counselor wasn't around I offered my own words of advice, some succesful, others I just couldn't help because of their situations. Err other then that, when I know someone that just littered or see someone near me littering I tell them to pick up whatever they threw on the ground and put it in the trash. |
