There are times when I all I want to do is sit down and think about all the deep topics like death, meaning of life, and all of the things that can be so depressing and so uplifting at the same time.
Sometimes, I end up regretting the time I took to really think because all I ever end up doing is knowing that I don't know much at all. So, is ignorance bliss or just a form of self-repression? |

Ignorance is not bliss. While it's depressing to think about serious topics like that, at least you're aware of everything that goes on in life and can work on learning more about it. It's better to be well-informed than to live a life that's...incomplete, somehow. I don't know how some people live without realizing the bigger things in life. It seems like you don't get the full range of life experiences if you do that.
