Ok, well, of course I can breathe, but I've had problems breathing since Monday. I really don't know why, and it's scaring the crap outta me.
![]() But it's only when I'm thinking of something serious or when my heart starts beating really fast or when I'm nervous and scared. I've been getting less than 5 hours a day since Sunday because of homework. And I've been a little stressed and slightly depressed lately. Could it be anxiety or whatever? And if you think it is or if you know what it is, how do I stop this? |

The same exact thing used to happen to me when I was younger.. I'd be stressed out and then would start to think that I couldn't breathe but really I could, just it was hard. When or if this happens to you again, just take deep breathes and it will go away in a couple of minutes. If you still are having issues see your doctor. He/she might have you breath for them and see if you have minimal asthma. If you do, he/she will probably give you an inhaler that's different than someone that has a more serious asthma. You can use this inhaler whenever you have difficulty breathing. In my case, I usually use it when I'm sick with bronchitis or just a cold.
edit: I didn't read that you were better. If you have problems breathing again, I guess you can take my advice. Glad your feeling better! ![]() |
