I'm not very flexable or too much in good shape, though. [[Don't get me wrong, I'm not fat. xDD]] I can't run a mile in less than 10 minutes or anything. I can't do a push up. I can play almost any sport though, not including soccer...heh-- but I'm just thinking about joining it so I can have something to do instead of just sitting at home doing nothing!

Got any tips for my tryouts or conditioning? I really think I need the help. xD

i made the squad last year but quit halfway through the summer because of issues outside cheerleading.

all i can say is
be stiff and tight [as if someone were to come try and move your arms when you are holding a move, keep them tight as you can] lock your elbows,
smile it helps a lot, look like you WANT to be there
be loud,
when you don`t get something, ask for help because if you don`t you`ll get even more lost when they keep going,
if you mess up keep on going like nothing happened,
rally after your cheers [just because it`s tryouts doesn`t mean they don`t want you to] <- not too sure about this one, but we had to in our tryouts

i can`t really thing of anything else besides have FUN with it.

as for conditioning you probably won`t start this until you make the squad. but all i can say is PLEASE stretch out before all this. a week ahead if possible. we were pretty sore [and it was just tryouts!].

.they do something where they jump and do the splits in the air or jump and touch their toes and stuff. Then they always like...throw someone in the air. xD

sounds like a toe touch. they really are not too hard. if you look closely or do it yourself, most girls don`t REALLY touch their toes. when you get to these, don`t reach towards your feet. let them come to you. =]

the other one just sounds like "flying" i forgot what that is.. i was a flyer. but the smallest girls are usually flyers. idk how you are. they usually teach you this and have lots of practice on it so don`t worry.

that`s a lot but not really. ;/ hope i helped a little. good luck! i promise it`ll be fun though.
