I'm not very flexable or too much in good shape, though. [[Don't get me wrong, I'm not fat. xDD]] I can't run a mile in less than 10 minutes or anything. I can't do a push up. I can play almost any sport though, not including soccer...heh-- but I'm just thinking about joining it so I can have something to do instead of just sitting at home doing nothing!
Got any tips for my tryouts or conditioning? I really think I need the help. xD |

it depends on the cheerleading team. my school's team is more of a dance squad so tumbling and flexibility wasn't such a requirement. other teams are really heavy on the tumbling. definitely learn to loosen your muscles and do splits and stretches. if you have time, learn to keep a tight, sharp form for movements and learn some jumps. you can look up cheerleading jumps on google. |
