Because of A Doll House by Henrik Ibsen, our class was talking about our financial philosophies and how we plan to spend or save our money. Of course, there were those who have their entire life planned out and the people who couldn't care less.
I was erring on the side of the former, probably because my mom always instilled this value of having a savings account and such. My dad has always been a spender, but for some reason, that never really translated to me.  So my philosophy has always been to write down all of my monetary needs in three categories: Weekly, Monthly, and Yearly. So tomorrow I need new toothpaste, by the end of the month yada yada, and save for college and such and such.

I save. I usually only spend my money on the things that either my parents won't buy me or the things that I really need. Right now I'm mainly saving all my money for Junior Prom which is in a month and is pretty expensive.
