High School Sweet Heart Afraid of Love Options

I was with my ex-girlfriend for almost 4 years. I met her in Freshman year of High School and she just broke up with me almost a month ago. The reason she broke up with me is because she says she is afraid of Love. She has seen what it has done to her parents and she has seen what it has done to other people. That they are together for a long time and than it just tears them apart and ruins them. I can tell she still wants us and she even admits she does, but she doesn't want us to get our hearts torn out or anything like her parents. When she broke up with me she tore my hear out, which to me doesn't make since because thats what she doesn't want to do in the first place. I'm want to get some insight from other people so i can understand this more. I'm also curious if i should just let her figure stuff out and hope she comes back or should i just move on?

I think you should wait for each other. In the mean time, you can go out with other people.

You have to let her think this through. And if your relationship with her is worth the chance to might have your hearts torn, she will come back.
