The only one of the Bible's "rules" that prohibits speech is "Don't take the name of the Lord in vain."
I'm a Christian, and I curse all the time. Like a sailor, actually. In fact, Saint Paul wrote a letter which was documented in one of the books of the New Testament where he used a word that would translate to today's meaning of "shit." I'm sure that God would prefer that we not swear, but it's not mentioned as a sin. |
