Greetings everyone, I just got back from working out, and I'm bored, so I figured I'd start a topic about this CD I picked up last night.
Some of you may or may not know, John Mayer released his new CD "Continuum" on September 12th, and I was wondering if you guys listened to him and if you had any opinions on it. In my opinion, it's a pretty solid album, and I'm enjoying his new style of Electric-guitar solos, in contrast to his Acoustic jams of earlier albums (which is odd, considering I'm an Acoustic Guitar player, and he is one of my major influences). I think his lyrics are typical of John Mayer-esque lyrics, and the vocals are pretty straight. Anyway, just wondering if you guys had grabbed it and what you all thought. |

I haven't fully listened to Continuum, but Slow Dancing in a Burning Room always makes me teary-eyed. Hah.
Room for Squares will always be one of my favorite albums. It might've been more pop-ish, but it's still amazing. I went to one of his concerts a while back when he just released Room for Squares. I love how he pretty much started off his career here in Atlanta. ![]() |
