so, me and my boyfriend broke up tonight. he was my first bf, but we only went out for 5 weeks. i certainly wasn't in love with him, and i don't feel at all sad. i knew it was coming. in the car on the way home he just blurts out, "i think we should just be friends" and i said, "yeah, i've been thinking the same thing" - which is true. he said he wants to still be friends and hang out though. but we'll see.
just wondering - how was YOUR first breakup? not bad at all, or horrible? are you two still friends? |

It was pretty harmless. Dated him for 5 months but never got close to him... I just didn't feel it going anywhere and to be honest I only liked him for how he looked. We both had no idea what we were like.. so I basically just broke up with him on msn hahaha. He said he was sad and I'm sure he was at time.. but he was like 'we have to stay friends okay??' and I said sure. He made the same attempts to talk to me every day for like 3 days. Then I think he got over it so we stopped talking, and last summer we hung out like once in a group and had our first actual conversation since then. I'm now dating one of his best friends and have been for 1.5 years actually... but it's cool because me and him never really had anything.
