help with 2 layouts Options

I have two layouts, which one is better of the two and what improvements can i make to make either one of these better. I feel like I could do more, I'm not getting good ratings on the first site, I havent posted the second (on yoursite.com) so please lemme know what you think! I value you guys judgement!

thanks for the tips! im a little confused about what you mean about "The white part, maybe make it only for the insdie with the text , then leave the background pink. That would be awesome" Do you mean have only the background where there is writing be white and then just have the rest the pink color that i have behind the white text box thing?? Like get rid of the white text box that goes all the way down the page and have it be pink instead?? lol sorry, i hope you understand what I am saying haha. im glad you like it though, i think i am going to fix little things i have to make and then make it my main layout!

as for the changing the layout template, do you have any suggestions? like...what template you think will look best? i agree that this template is rather generic. It annoys me cause i hate having one like everyone else, im just not sure what to do with it i guess
