I was just given another 10% warning level bringing my total to 20%. My crime was bashing IShotJFK. Yet I've been bashing other members for a while and it's only become a problem now. I guess the rule should be changed to "No Bashing CB Staff, Everyone else is fair game."
If it is okay to bash one member, why is it not okay to bash another? It's not like you don't see me bashing others, it's just a problem when it's you at the receiving end. |

Lmao. Don't mind me; I find this funny.
I see bringing up Seon Ho was inevitable. His IPs WERE banned but he was still able to use his account for some reason (and without a proxy); therefore, the ban was pretty useless. I took them off because a) as I said, it wasn't working, and b) many IPs are shared by many many members, which is why I'm wary of using an IP ban. Ok, so, the discussion Backstage of what to do with Seon Ho. Why the constant discussion? Because people on staff have differing views on what should be done. Both sides have valid points so it's not as if the staff doesn't have the guts to face up to him. LOL, I think he knows that I don't shy away from punishing him. Anyway, I think the take home message from this thread is that something should be done about the different standards that the staff members have on what merits a warning, a verbal warning, or a simple slap on the wrist. I saw what the user "Anal" has posted and didn't hesitate to give out a verbal warning. I saw that the "Be nice." comment geared at Seon Ho was useless and PMed Jane saying she should be afraid of doing certain things and doing what she thinks is right. Edit: P.S. I agree with everything Jordi (Kurd Jam) has stated in his latest post. |

I agree with everything Jordi (Kurd Jam) has stated in his latest post. I don't agree with Kurd Jam at all... I have been at this site for a little over 8 months now and have only been acting up recently. It's been this way ever sense I have joined cB. Certain members just get away with shit. A lot of what he has said is true, but in many cases does not apply to this website.... there definitely is a double standard. Particularly in the case of Krnxswat. You can seriously be as bad as you want, and never get kicked off this site. Most ISP's use a Class A IP address giving their customers 1,000,000+ IP address's to choose from. I can change my IP at any time, and create a new account. You guys would have no idea it was me, and I could do the same thing all over again. Proxy's are another method, but I prefer a simple phone call to a slow connection (proxies are slow...). I'm getting the impression that you guys are really at the mercy of your members... especially the ones who don't use the services provided in the design section. You know what's really stupid: Even though you all punish seon ho over and over... your staff still has the stupidity to give him numerous member of the X awards... >.> That's almost the equivalant of giving your most troublesome employee "Employee of the Month"... I don't know what you guys were thinking at the time, but someone must have hit you guys in the head with a 2x4 or something. |
