Member Bashing Exceptions, The Exceptions to Member Bashing Options

I was just given another 10% warning level bringing my total to 20%. My crime was bashing IShotJFK. Yet I've been bashing other members for a while and it's only become a problem now. I guess the rule should be changed to "No Bashing CB Staff, Everyone else is fair game."
If it is okay to bash one member, why is it not okay to bash another? It's not like you don't see me bashing others, it's just a problem when it's you at the receiving end.

He did insult a staff member right in the face, but he didn't pretend to walk away (he kept right on posting). Shouldn't that staff members maintain the same standard for all other members on the site including themselves? Of all the offensive things said on that thread, the only thing he disciplined Jeremy for was when he got called a "jagoff". Of all the things said in that thread that had to be one of the least offensive.

I see the complaining, although I don't see any constructive effort being done behind it. Correct me if I am wrong, but I think none of the people complaining about staff behaviour in this topic has used the report option to denounce any of the violations mentioned in here as well. As far as this discussion goes, the positive contribution to the site is null.

Furthermore, shall we recall past incidents were yourself have directed insults against a staff member out of the blue, only to go back and edit your posts when another CB staff member called you on it? We can even observe how the "no bashing rule" seems to disappear whenevr it is convenient. What with one of your guild members making jokes about "cry-o-genics" in a recent lounge topic, too .

Actions and preaching going together would really help your cause right now, otherwise you can quit trying to convince me about whatever purpose you claim your group has.

Well, it is a complaint... this is the feedback section and it's used for ideas, complaints, and praise. Nothing wrong with what he has said.

These posts aren't "out-of-the-blue" believe me. This is your perception and not fact. I can see were you would get that idea, but it is far from the truth.

The "no bashing rule" never disappears, we know full well what we are doing and are prepared to accept the consequences each and every time as long as proper procedures are executed in giving us those punishments.

*sigh* What our guild members do outside of the missions is their business. We cannot control the members any more than staff can control members who post on different websites. We only encourage our members to contribute to the community. You should go look at our thread and read it.

I like how a topic that apparently doesn't affect the UT was swarmed with said group members before I posted, and keeps being the same way after my post. If you guys don't want to be grouped as a single entity don't act as one, and of course, don't complain about it later nor get your shit flipped so easily .

As far as saying that we don't suppport the site, me, josh, and Jake collectively have made little scores of people join the site who had never even heard of CB before. In the big picture that doesn't really matter, yet when you think of the people they tell and the people those people tell, it supports the site in a huge way. Just because we don't kiss the asses of the mods doesn't mean we don't support the site. We Pay it Forward. So go screw yourself dickweed.

As I've stated many times, I did not join the site to be "constructive." I joined for the single purpose of being a dick. That may not sit well with you and you might not understand what the point is. Well, let me just give you a quick history in terms of my involvement on this site.

Josh comes in to work one day saying how he was given a three day mod-preview for something I look back on as ridiculously miniscule(I believe it was for being sarcastic). He continues to talk about it a few more times as the day progresses. He has no life(j/k).

We hang out afterwards with our friend Jake. They both think it would be a good, funny idea for me to join the site because they know the way I write, they know the way I talk, and they know my thinking process. I join and within the first two days am put on mod preview for two weeks.

Since then I've been posting in various threads, co-created the Unholy Trinity, and have put my voice out there with welcome criticism. "Criticism" being the main word. Not bitching and complaining. Criticism helps me grow as a writer. It is not criticism when people decide to throw in the power card over something that only affects them and fail to lift a finger when others fall under the same treatment.

As far as the Unholy Trinity uniting here, so what? We actually made it a point to elect the people we saw agreed with our logic and posted in the same threads we did. If they decide to post elsewhere without us knowing about it, that's their buisness.

You really don't understand what this topic is about... you should just leave. In my opinion or personality is ridiculously dry, and everything you have said hasn't contributed to the post.

The only thing you keep bringing up is the "opinion" that this has to do with the UT. Which it obviously does not. Yes, Jake, Jeremy, and I do post in this topic. Yes, we are in the same team, but everything done in this thread and all other threads (outside our team thread and missions posted by me alone) have nothing to do with the UT.

We aren't the only ones posting in here. What about members like "brownsugar"? I think she brings up a great point. It's also very similar to the situation Jeremy faces. Please Kurd Jam, take your "know-it-all" comments and observations and flush em' down un bañó.

Oh? And how many times has this discussion taken place? Homeboy has all the mods backstage talking about him with topics up the wall, but nothing is happening.

Honestly? We're doing all we can to deal with the issue promptly every time, and if I see it happening I don't let it pass by unnoticed. When I saw his post tonight (one of the ones quoted by Suzzette, I was directed to the page by another member) I immediately put him on mod preview. It's not that nothing IS being done, but if he's getting away with it between punishments, he shouldn't be. If he continues the negative posting during mod preview, his punishment will be extended.

He shouldn't be, but he does... Hahahahahhaha, it's so pathetic. I had a conversation with Mona a while back. She pretty much told me that there was nothing they could do about Krnxswat, and that they just kept disciplining him. He pretends to be a good boy while on mod preview, and as soon as the punishments up he goes back to doing what he does best. She said that staff didn't know what to do about it, and that were having discussions on how to discipline his behavior.

I also brought up the fact that he has been ip banned. She said that she didn't know how he got off of the IP ban. You know what's really funny is that he flaunts the IP ban like its a medal. Look at this post:

How to get away with being disobedient 101:

• Stage 1: Get to know the staff. Pretend like you respect them, and make them like you. Bash people until you cross the line and when they give you a verbal warning be nice and say you'll stop. If you want to make this last a long time, bash people a little bit and once every two weeks do something worthy of a verbal warning. Keep doing this until it gets old and they raise your warning level.
• Stage 2: Congrats, you have reached stage two. Staff still likes you. Don't worry, you can keep repeating the steps found in Stage 1 until you receive a mod preview. Just make sure you stay "buddy-buddy" with staff.
• Stage 3: Congrats, you have reached stage 2, and you are on mod preview. Remember, while on mod preview you have to be good. For some reason, staff still likes you. They are sad that you are bad, and treat you like a teacher treats that smart kid in highschool that doesn't do his homework but gets high 90's on all their exams (You know what I'm talking about). They like you, but they only wish that you could be good. *sigh* You just aren't motivated. Keep repeating the steps found in stages one through three until staff hates you and give you an IP ban.
• Stage 4: Wow, it should take you about a year to reach this point. That's some real effort, and upon being banned. I'm sure you made lots of friends with your colorful personality. People have probably made threads supporting your return because the site has become "boring". It's ok, you haven't run out of guns yet. All you have to do is call up your local ISP (Internet Service Provider) and request a scope change on your DHCP. DHCP scopes are the range of IP address's that your ISP gives you for use when you pay their monthly dues. Generally your ISP will give you a range of about three address's. Wait a week before you make any posts, and when you do start making posts just act like nothing happened. When staff inquires about your return just tell them you are sorry and that you will be good. Act good and play them for fools for about a week, and then just go right back to stages 1-4 until they unregister your user name, and ban anyone from using it.
• Stage 5: Wow, you are amazing, but to get your user name back you are going to have to use some skills in a programming language I would like to call "java-tastic". Now, I'm not to good at this, but a friend of mine is plenty good. Alright, with any site that uses login user names and passwords there is a split second where access to the websites user database is totally open. The hard part is finding that exact moment.
  
  All you have to do is find the IP address of the server. Then create a java-tastic program that consistently probes that server as the administrator until someone logs on. At the split second a person is logging on, a port is open and server is searching for that users account so that they can have access to features on the website. The program forces you in through that open port giving you access to the server... do whatever you want from there... xD
  
  Anyways, if you don't have all the java-tastic skills you can always call your ISP and change your IP scope and create a new username. Knowing Ju-sun also works.

It's funny that you are talking about Seon Ho bragging about his IP ban. I do believe you "brag" about all the punishments and havoc you've caused on this site, you think it's funny, as do many of your friends. (And I don't want to seem like I have a bias against you OR the UT, it just works out in this example. ) There are a few more similarities between you and him, but that is not the issue here. Also, we as staff do realize that we can't really do a lot about Seon Ho and we are discussing this backstage, so don't think that we are oblivious to his posts. Honestly, once he gets bored and people stop reacting to his posts so much, I think he will leave again. That being said, as staff, we aren't going to ignore him and are trying to find ways to get him to stay in line, we aren't just sitting there blindly ignoring his posts and looking for others to warn.


As for your list, reading it does not make me angry. It actually makes me laugh. Seon Ho has been a member for FAR longer than you and, from what I remember, has always had a sarcastic semi-bashing personality. You learn to just ignore him or laugh at the fact that people actually offended over something that a person they will likely never meet said to them on an internet forum.
