Boyfriend ABUSE! Options

ok..i have this friend and she has been together with her boyfriend for about a year now, but he would abuse her. I keep telling her to break up him because all he does is hit her when things dont go his way and all she would say,
"..he just does that because he loves me, and he dont want to let me go.."
Like whatttt..who would harm someone they love. She doesnt get it and i dont want to be the one to get in the middle of thier relationship or w.e. but I'm worried about her safety.

I think i sould tell someone who could get them help but i dont want our friendship to get ruined because of it or her stupidd boyfriend!!

f**k it, tell her parents... if your friendship is that important to you then you should tell her parents. Even though you may loose a friend for a little while, or feel some grief for a few weeks. It will still be worth it in the end because she will be safe.
