I was just given another 10% warning level bringing my total to 20%. My crime was bashing IShotJFK. Yet I've been bashing other members for a while and it's only become a problem now. I guess the rule should be changed to "No Bashing CB Staff, Everyone else is fair game."
If it is okay to bash one member, why is it not okay to bash another? It's not like you don't see me bashing others, it's just a problem when it's you at the receiving end. |

Yeah either you're all victims of internet prosecution (yet this thread includes a claim for being babysitted), or else insulting a staff member right in the face and pretend to walk away unharmed is as retarded as it turned out to be.
I don't see any of you guys trying to make an effort to receive any positive feedback, nor do you seem to be interested in maintaining a moderately decent enviorment with other members at all, so all of this whining is lacking base if you think about it. |

He did insult a staff member right in the face, but he didn't pretend to walk away (he kept right on posting). Shouldn't that staff members maintain the same standard for all other members on the site including themselves? Of all the offensive things said on that thread, the only thing he disciplined Jeremy for was when he got called a "jagoff". Of all the things said in that thread that had to be one of the least offensive. About the positive feedback: I'm never sure if your serious or not, but have you even seen our club thread. The entire thing is about community participation and contribution. If anything, you're post is lacking a "base". I think (and please correct me if I'm wrong) the issue that Jeremy is bringing up is that he should have had a raised warn level long ago instead of it just happening because a Staff member was insulted. To the extent that he should have been warned a while ago, he's correct. I think that the fact that he was warned because of insulting/bashing a Staff member is coincidental. And yes, we DO try to be objective when it comes to warning individuals. It isn't the most pleasant aspect of being a staff member. PS - No, James doesn't monitor your posts more than anyone elses. ![]() I'll agree with most of that, I think that Jeremy thought that it wouldn't be a problem if he called James a "jagoff" because: James is a staff member, if James wasn't disciplining anyone for anything else offensive in the thread why should James discipline him now? I'm not so sure it was coincidental though, like you said, "You just happened to be in a thread he was active in." He was active in this thread, and he did give out a warning as soon as he was the one receiving the short end of the stick. |
