This is my very first div layout. I kept it simple because I just wanted to get the basics down. I haven't put it on my main profile because I can't get it from looking distorted in firefox. It looks fine in IE but in firefox it looks a little bunched together. Does anyone know what I would need to do in order to get the layout to look ok in firefox?
the background I got from reddragondesigns. I'm all for constructive criticism. Here's the link: http://www.myspace.com/teeshadiv Thanks! |

I think you could really improve the design aspect of the profile by using some brushes on the div overlay pic. And on just a personal basis, i like to make my layouts simple and to the point. So i like to have the whole thing veiwable without scrolling. This catches the veiwers eye. They see the whole design. It puts things into prespective.
For tips on making a div pic with brushes. - obviously get your self some brushes for photoshop. - Start off with a basic shape that you want you layout to be. - Make the text and picture areas in your div. uses brushes around the edges of your shape and give it that extra edge on the plain shapes. - You can also put brushes in the corners of you page. Heres one i made today, which follows what i have said. But also concider that this is my style and you will probably form your own. ![]() |
