My school has been thinking about having year round school. The vacations and breaks are longer, but there is no summer. You still have the same amount of school days but year round. They want to do this so kids don't "Forget things over the summer" and when one grade is over, it's on to the next a week later.
What do you think? |

QUOTE(ComradeRed @ Jun 7 2004, 3:37 PM) The whole system is set up based on continous learning then a summer break. This system would blur the distinction between grades, and also impari class efficiency as there would be 3 weeks in between every 2 months to prevent continous subject teaching. I could understand using this system for Elementary Schools, or even Middle Schools, but using this system for High Schools is ludicrous. your good at debating. anyhoo..i dont think so, i mean it would be good educationally. but mentally...come on how many times are you a kid and teenager. only once. ![]() |
