Well, obviously I just got out a a relationship since this is my second post about exes. Long story short, I was the one that broke up with him cause he was insensitive about how I felt on 2 separate occasions.
1. We went to his former fling's birthday party and he insisted on no PDA and for us to laylow. Basically not act like a couple....Also, he didn't want to tell her about us....yet...He didn't want to hurt her feelings. ![]() 2. He's going to the prom with someone else. Ok, not that big of a deal, except for the fact that he didn't tell the girl HE HAD A GIRLFRIEND!!! Worst part about it is: I can't get over the douchebag....... ![]() |

I just replied to a similar situation in another topic... I don't know if this one is quite as serious, but here:
Alright, well... you have to get the idea of him out of your head. Eventually you will naturally get over him. You have to accept the fact that it's over. He is not coming back. It sounds like you are hoping he will ask you back out again. You have to stop.
It's natural to be sad, and there is nothing with you. You're just hurting because of lost love. You will be able to love again. Be strong. I know it seems like the end of the world. When I broke up with my first girlfriend it was as if my whole world turned grey. I felt like everything was over. My life was worthless, but I was just being ignorant. I felt like there was nothing left because I had invested so much time and effort into her. All the time I had learned to spend on her was now free, and my life felt like there was a giant hole in it. The truth is that there is so much more to life than just relationships. You're in highschool, and you should be having fun. Pick up on some of the old activities you enjoyed that were replaced with your relationship when you started dating your boyfriend. Hang out with some of the old friends you had. Participate in an after school activity. Do something, and enjoy yourself. Don't take this relationship two seriously. This is one of many relationships you will probably have before you find the man of your dreams. Don't let this discourage you from entering the exciting world of relationships again. Instead, learn from the mistakes you made while you were in this one and better yourself. ![]() Finding Nemo: Dory: Hey there, Mr. Grumpy Gills. When life gets you down do you wanna know what you've gotta do? Marlin: No I don't wanna know. Dory: *singing* Just keep swimming. Just keep swimming. Just keep swimming, swimming, swimming. What do we do? We swim, swim. |
