Clubs Options

I think that there should be a category called "Clubs" in the Interests section. I think it would be easier to find club topics, and for all the clubs to be ordered in a section instead of scattered all around the forums. It's fine the way it is, but I think it would be more easier and organized to make a section for clubs.

Any thoughts about it?

The reason I thought our topic was moved to the dark corners of CB:

• James has a personal grudge.
• I have to "grow up". (P.S. you can read my reply to that statement here)
• We were talking to much in the "lounge", a place where poeple are supposedly supposed to talk about "bull-shit".

1. I personally disagree with the Sandbox being the dark corners of cB. And if you guys were really adamant about UT reaching the masses, you wouldn't let it being moved to the Sandbox deter you.

2. James has said again and again that he has no personal grudge. And if he did, you'd know. He'd be the first to tell you.

3. You guys aren't exactly handling this in a professional manner, IMO. This is directed to no one in particular, but you gain more flies with honey than with vinegar. Attacking the moderating team is not the way to get your issues heard. That's not to say that we respond to sycophancy, but rather give us the respect that you in turn expect out of us. We're all rational people here. Also, don't you (general you) think blaming what has happened on a supposed grudge leans a little towards the side of immaturity?

4. Just because the Lounge is informal doesn't mean that the rules all of a sudden become arbitrary.

I fourth that.

And I state again, the club's purpose is to promote the activity here at cB. By moving our thread to the Sandbox, it seems that the staff relates the idea of promoting the site to spam, which I remind you stands for Stupid Pointless Annoying Messages.

If the staff is so against the promotion of their own site, I suggest that they step down from their positions and allow those who do agree to step up to the plate and guide this site the way Jusun intended it to be.

That's bull. cB's had a couple of "revolution" topics, started in the Feedback forum, that the staff has not tried to stifle. Indeed, members of the "revolution" are or have been mods: Justin (sadolaked acid), James (I Shot JFK), and Anna (Azarel) [or at least I thnk Anna was a part of the revolution, someone can correct me if I'm wrong]. If anything, James would be the most sympathetic mod with UT because of his history with cB. Seeing as how he agrees with the rest of us (mods) that, for the time being, the best place for UT is the Sandbox should definitely tell you something about the direction in which that topic was heading.
