confusion, i don't know what should i do about this. Options

i've got to know this guy D, when i was working part-time. at that point of time, i had found him a rather interesting guy and was kinda looking forward to the next time when i will see him. after about one month later, i saw him working again. i got really excited, and i guess i showed it out. his friend kept saying i like him, and kept pushing me towards him whenever i'm near D. i was rather embarrassed at first.
after that day, i went on to Friendster to check him out and soon, added him in Msn. i know it sounds as if i'm a lil desperate or very initiative, however all i want is to be frens. soon, we started to talk on msn, and sms each other everyday.
that is when i started to think, have i fallen for him? one of my close friends did a quiz for me, and she said all it was is admiration, and nothing more. yet, i think otherwise. i look forward to his sms-es, i hope to see him again.
valentine's day is coming, should i go and ask him out? do i really like him?

well i'd say to find out how he feels about YOU first. Do you like him? Only you can answer that for yourself. But if he doesn't feel the same way about you...well...you'll feel pretty embarrassed. Take it slow an get to know him first.
