I'm studying for my midterms and I have to say that I hate the math system in NY. Math A, Math A/B and Math B are really tightly packed( you have to learn things fast) and next year they're going to change the system again because so many people were failing the course's regents and etc.

For those of you who don't know about Math A and etc. Math system in NY

Does anybody else have to take Math A and etc? And what do you think about the system?

I didn't do so good with Math A, all 3 parts. I think I only got to move on to Math B was cause I passed the Math A Regents. I just finished taking Math B part 1, and it wasn't bad at all, since the whole thing is proofs. It's all writing and remembering stuff. I think it was easier than Math A, IMO. But my teacher said in the 2nd and 3rd part of Math B, it goes back to dealing with algebra so pinch.gif

I hated the part where we learned Math logic in Math A. It was so confusing!
