New Mission 03/17/07

So far The Unholy Trinity has been given a bad reputation as being disrespectful and crude, but actually we are here to speak freely without fear of hostility or reprimand. Not to say that we are miscreants, but rather revolutionaries on a mission of liberation for the free thinking mind. The idea that all members of this site must conform to an emotionless state of almost mechanical etiquette is a declination of uniqueness and all human rights. Our mission, nay our crusade is based on the belief that all should be able to speak free and clear without looking behind their shoulder for a tyrannical authority figure in need of a name for themselves.

Simply put, members of The Firm are expected to:

1. stand up for community members who are being bashed
2. support fellow members
3. complete assigned tasks
4. speak their minds
5. have no fear of reprimand
6. contribute to both CB and The Firm.
7. have fun

You must find your own path. We do not accept applications. All are welcome to try, and many will enter into the Firm. We do not choose, rather it is through your own skill and admonition that you will be allowed to become one of our followers. To walk the path you must show interest in the JUC.

Simply put, to join The Unholy Trinity:

1. PM Uronacid, JakeKKing, or The Abominable C-Pillar
2. we will interview you.
3. you get accepted.

Follow the path, we will choose only the most devoted followers to rise in within the tiers of The Unholy Trinity.

• Recruit a New member:
  • New Member must PM me saying you referred them.
  • You will receive 10 mission point when they participate in their first mission.

Tiers: All tiers are achieved and completed after a number of missions have been finalized and experience points have been gathered. There will be absolutely no tier jumping. For example...If you have just been accepted into the Unholy Trinity you now are a believer. If you post anything that a moderator finds suggestive; let this be know that there will be no immediate award or tier jump given when you receive a temporary ban or moderator preview. We will fairly judge your commitment to The Firm and give awards and promotions to those who deserve them.

I don't want to talk about it particulary, it won't be productive, and in any case I don't particularly see what cause it would be promoting/detracting from in any event.

And who said I wasn't having fun? I just said I didn't want to join. But my time I have to waste on you is up, and I have a conversation to have with someone worthwhile. As I said, go nuts with this. But if I were you, i wouldn't kid myself into thinking it's some sort of worthy cause. You're only fooling yourself.

And like I said, I'm not going to close a thread which sticks to it's purpose and doesn't violate any forum rules, which I'll assume those do not, given their length. I just told you not to push the spam thing, because it's not in your best interests.

All of these arguments in our directly relate to our team/club thing. They are defending our clubs integrity. Its not spam, and most of the posts in here are more than 2-3 sentences long. You will see how successful this club will be. I promise.

I only see these nine posts as being spam.

The FACTS:

• 10% of these posts are spam (not that bad). (9/81)
• less 50% of that spam is from our members. (4/9)
• Funny thing is, more than 50% of them were made by mods, and you're threatening to close our thread because your fellow staff members are spamming in our thread.. The others posts short posts directly relate to our club (people signing to say hello to the team/agreement with other posts... etc.). (5/9)
• 60% of those posts were made by you (james), and even you consider them to be spam. (3/5)
• if we don't count your spam 33% of the spam is still generated by staff members. (2/6)
• if we don't count your spam only 7.3% of this post is inhabited by spam. (6/81)

TO ALL STAFF MEMBERS: STOP THREATENING US WITH THE SPAM CARD, WE HAVE FAR LESS SPAM THAN ANY OTHER CLUB ON CB, AND MUCH OF IT IS CREATED BY YOU!

I would like to ask you, James... what is a club? Is it not a group of people who come together because they share a common idea or purpose? Might I ask you to consider "what is the Zumunda (spelling, I don't care as long as you get the point) Club's purpose?" Isn't the purpose just to simply have fun? Don't you think that would lead to spam?

If you take our thread away for "spam" it's only fair to take their's away also. Would that be right? No, it's not right. Have we done anything wrong? No, if you consider defending our club with replies against skeptics like yourself I beg to differ. Cut the crap James. If you think your promotion to staff is going to keep me from replying to your public criticisms in the tread that I and several members created then you're oh so wrong. Get off your high-chair little boy, do you want my respect? You'll have to earn it. I have respect for Dutch of Dork, Libertie, and Mona Lisa because they respect me. Start respecting me, and I'll start respecting you.

P.S. James, numbers don't lie, however people do. Like I said, if you don't want to have fun in our thread LEAVE. Like I always say, "PM Me if you would like to talk about it. If you publicly reply to me, I will publicly reply to you. It's only fair, and I shouldn't receive punishment for it."

haha. Josh, if only you would debate like this with us at work, we'd probably begin to believe you. I completely agree. It is very stupid and hypocritical to accuse us of a spam thread when it is your own group doing the spamming. That's like a farmer striking his cow for poor milk when he feeds it dog food(Search for the metaphor. It's there if you're smart enough).

As far as me being "told", I agree with what was said to an extent, but I did say I may be and probably am wrong. Plus there is kind of a difference between internet fun and tangible, real life fun.
Anyways, lets try to keep this post to what it originally was which was to welcome any potential members. As far as selective membership, it is in my understanding that all you have to do is PM Josh, Jake, or Me(I'm not on often so Josh or Jake) and you are accepted regardless of who you are. That is the whole "interview" process as Josh put it. If you want to join, great. If not, don't. But if you have no interest in the club, don't try to tell us how we can make it better, it's good enough.

But we do want deconstructive criticism.

So enjoy and hopefully we'll be on long enough to get a decent following.
