What is the most deceiving album cover in your collection?
I hate when a band has an ugly album cover. I guess it's one of my pet peeves. I recently found my copy of Guano Apes album of 1999 “Proud like a god.” I fell in love with this band and album over night. I remember being at the music store searching for the album and when I found it the cover grossed me out so much. I guess it fits with the bands name because it’s a bat but the picture is kind of disturbing. ![]() What examples do you have of great albums with terrible covers? |

The White Album (The Beatles)
For such a wickedly diverse album, the understatement of the the plain white (yeah, I know it wasn't the original concept, but it's what I own) is plain misleading. To go from Back to the U.S.S.R. to Glass Onion to Why Don't We Do it in the Road to Julia to Helter Skelter to Revolution #9 is insane. It's like, you have no warning. Badaboom! *downloads White Album to Ipod (once I figure out how to do so, if I can do so) |
