I wear Ortho-K.
They're similar to hard contacts, but designed for the night. I put them in when I'm going to sleep and I take them out in the morning - then I can see! It's so much better than glasses or regular contacts (been there, done those) and I absolutely love them! It's getting more popular now, and I can definitely see why. I would recommend this to anybody with a prescription. ![]() |

wait. so you put these contacts on at night and you can sleep in them and it won't damage your eyes? And then you can see perfectly the next day, for the whole day?? And it doesn't matter how bad your prescription is ??? how much does it cost??? i want it! Yeah. You put them in before you go to sleep, take them out when you wake up in the morning. They want you to have the contacts in for at least 7 hours to be able to see clearly for the rest of the day (24 hours). Because this is not a permanent solution to nearsightedness/farsightedness, the effectiveness of the contacts decreases throughout the day, but not drastically. I can still see clearly by nightime, but there is a slight difference, though hardly noticeable. Basically, if you're on a routinely schedule, give or take a few hours everyday, these contacts will work just fine. I do this routine everyday and it's not much different than regular contacts. However, if your prescription is under 150 or something, I think you only have to sleep with the contacts in every other day, cause my sister's prescription isn't as bad as mine - that's what she does. Here's a link for more information: Ortho K |
