Thank God for Dead Soldiers, "God's punishment" Options

This woman's father organizes people to go to the funerals of soldiers from iraq, holding signs saying "thank god for dead soldiers".

"God is punishing this nation, and one of his wepons of choice is sending your children home from battle, dead."

How do all of you feel about that? Do you think that these people have the right to intrude on something as solemn as a funeral, to shame these people and the dead soilder? Do you guys think that God is really "punishing the nation"?

I'm not condoning the war, and i'm DEFINATLEY not agreeing with this woman or her "church", but i also do not believe that it's the soldiers' fault we're there.

Quite frankly i can't believe insane people like that exsist.

I went to Korea and got shot at. I'm headed to Iraq to get shot at. And I'm doing this to protect the rights of people like her. If there were no military and our government was still this reckless, we'd be dead by now.

Do you think most Marines, Sailors, Soldiers and Airmen like leaving their families? Do you think I want to walk around in 120 degree weather with 100lbs on my back because its fun? Do you think I want to die before my parents? Of course not but joining the military is less about serving your country and more about bettering your own life. People like her make me sick. I'm sick of conservatives and I'm damn sure sick of liberals. Everyone has something to say but very few do anything about it.
