ok this store is decent and they might sell some nice stuff for the winter once in awhile but jeans r nothing special compared to other preppy stores, but why is this store so cheap? jeans were like $9.99 no joke

Ten bucks for jeans at Gap? They're around $50 where I live.  Were you at an outlet?
