So will CDs last any longer. expecially when everything is worked by download. Xbox 360 is coming up with IPTV where you can upload videos to it and watch on your television. Apple is coming out with the same thing and soon NETFLIX will convert to it.

In my opinion i dont think it will last. Just cause i rarely buy cds if i like the whole album and its always been like that for me.

So do you think CDs will last in the digital generation?

I still use CD's and haven't gotten any sort of MP3 player for myself yet, though I can definitely see why people find them so convenient. I still like that CDs can be played in most modern sound systems and in cars. However, I think that once most sound systems can take any kind of MP3 player, CD usage will diminish even more.
