A walk in my Life Options

sometimes I can sit here and think forever
not noticing how time passes by its now or never
Every night and every day I'm all alone
Thinking how I can live life growing up on my own

You were never there, never supported me, you were always gone
I should have left you that day when everything went wrong
but I was to scared to leave, I was weak in the heart
Living with you never helped me, it tore me apart

What happen to those days when I was still a kid
A missing past that I live, a life that forbids
But I never thought life would ever treat me this way
I started growing up too fast deprived of my days

17 years pass and everything is still the same
can i push the reset button like I do in a game
can I relive every moment to make better decisions
would I be able to answer the answers I couldn't answer in a question

I prayed every night before I closed my eyes
Praying for a day where life has no lies
I still wait for an answer, the answer never came
maybe thats why I ended up living a life in shame

I want to move on and maybe be able to forget
Start a new chapter in a book where I know longer regret
Put my past behind and lock it up in a home to come back to
If ever a day comes again where im all alone I know where to run to
