So will CDs last any longer. expecially when everything is worked by download. Xbox 360 is coming up with IPTV where you can upload videos to it and watch on your television. Apple is coming out with the same thing and soon NETFLIX will convert to it.

In my opinion i dont think it will last. Just cause i rarely buy cds if i like the whole album and its always been like that for me.

So do you think CDs will last in the digital generation?

I don't think so. So many people have already converted to iPods, mp3's, their computer (iTunes, windows media, etc) and especially downloading songs. CD's are getting to be too 'bulky', iPods weigh only a few ounces. Besides, people these days maybe only want 1 or 2 songs off an album, and rather than buying the whole thing, they can just purchase them online. It's much easier for society.
