Scrolling Comments Options

I have my comments in a sized box in my div, and the comments are so large that I have to scroll to the right. I've tried doing the overflow-x: hidden, but of course that didn't work. I guess I want something that will compress the comments... Any suggestions?

i had no idea where to put this code.. i tried putting it
inside of the 'div' that i want the comments to be in...
that didn't work.

i tried putting it underneath where all the main code is
at the top, that didn't work.

i tried putting it underneath the settings for the 'div'
where i want it to be, and that didn't work either..

what am i doing wrong?

i have been having such a hard time getting the comments
to show up...
