I only watched the first season. I don't really like to watch the show because it doesn't really interest me all that much. It seems like someone wins and then you don't hear about them again. Except for Kelly Clarkson.

It seems like someone wins and then you don't hear about them again. Except for Kelly Clarkson. Same here. I think the only Idol who has actually succeeded and branched out from Idol-dom is Kelly. She made a name for herself outside of winning the competition. Anyway, last season I got into it around the middle but then lost interest once it was down to the last two, hah. This season, I will most likely only watching the auditions. |

Same here. I think the only Idol who has actually succeeded and branched out from Idol-dom is Kelly. She made a name for herself outside of winning the competition. Anyway, last season I got into it around the middle but then lost interest once it was down to the last two, hah. This season, I will most likely only watching the auditions. My Jennifer! STOP forgetting MY Jennifer. *glares at everyone* winning a golden globe counts as success... Oh, and I know I'm in a minority on this, but i HATE the bad auditions... It means they don't have time to showcase most of the people who DO get through, which means that, come the voting stages, people who have airtime have a massive advantage. like Melissa last season. I really liked her, and she was better than a 12th place finish, but no one knew her... *seethe* |
