If I want to ask a girl out, but I'm way to shy to do it, what would be the best way to get myself to do it?

Well, make sure you never send a messenger to ask her something like, "Oh, would you ever go out with ___?" (That'll make it obvious and awkward.) Don't be shy! Life is all about taking risks. I guess you can try to get to know her a little better as a friend first. It might break that shy barrier you have and give you two some time to bond.

I think that maybe you should go up to her, and ask her yourself? You'll probably be blown away by what she says. Maybe you can get to know her a little bit more? Talk to her more often? Hang out with her more often? I'd suggest get more comfortable with her, and then ask her out when you think it's the right time and that you're pretty confident in asking her out.
