they HAVE to make their kids learn an instrument .. it'll be most likely a guitar or the piano. they'll have you playing golf as a sport rather than football/basketball. they're too strict about your school performances.

Thats basically the sterotypical way to put it. I'm asian and my parents never forced me to do any of those things.
 They're pretty laid back about boys and such. They're cool.
