I'm on cB periodically and I realize how different the atmosphere is since I started out here, and in general, since my last obsessive visits here. (I'm not too sure if any of you remember me. I haven't changed my obnoxious screenname since I first registered.)
I'm wondering how the older members feel cB has changed over the last year, two years, etc. What has happened? What new is there? I hope that this can bring back some entertaining memories from the past as well. Reflection time? I hope so. Haha. |

Oh, see for me, I was just drawn to people at first. I didn't want a social group- I wanted to get my post count and PPD up for the xanga tracker, then leave. But it was actually fun here, so I stayed.
Now, yes, there is the occasional fascinating person who catched my attention, but people like that are rare, and usually leave really quickly. Honestly, though, that's why I like BR now. It may not be full of the most fun people ever, but at least they carry on mature conversation. So many people here now just seem like clones of each other, and it's tedious. Drive by posting really is a problem, too.I like conversing on the boards. And so long as the conversation is is inclusive so that anyone could jump in and not be terribly confused, I thoroughly think it should be allowed. And I think I'm rambling now, so nevermind all of that. Must get back to my essays. Oh, and yes, I like new people like her too. People who actually have something to say, and don't just go...uhhh I don't know I'm new. Because that's completely useless. |
