I'm on cB periodically and I realize how different the atmosphere is since I started out here, and in general, since my last obsessive visits here. (I'm not too sure if any of you remember me. I haven't changed my obnoxious screenname since I first registered.)
I'm wondering how the older members feel cB has changed over the last year, two years, etc. What has happened? What new is there? I hope that this can bring back some entertaining memories from the past as well. Reflection time? I hope so. Haha. |

SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!! To be honset, I was thinking about this earlier, and I cam to the conclusion that I don;t really think Cb HAS changed all that much. I think it's down to the fact that my perspective has changed... because I've been around for a while now, i tend to view things from the viewpoint of the past, which means it seems really different. It's still groups of members having fun a getting to know each other, and what not, but because they aren't the people i 'grew up with', if you like, i notice the differences in the way they talk, post, etc. Also, there is a LOT less drama around nowadays, especially since the Feedback forum and Mod performance threads were introduced. Now, there is a clear way for everyone to express their concerns. In the past, little things tended to dissolve into all out warfare. haha. Hate thread and Cb revolution, anyone? Good times... Also, because cb has been around for a long time, there seem to be a lot more 'memory' threads around, which kind of perpetuates the feeling of change... i guess that because Cb HAS a real history now, it's possible to reflect on it, whereas before there wasnt really all that much to look back on. |
