Well, I have read an article at http://mugglenet.com and I have become semi-convinced that Snape is portraying a facade to all but Dumbledore. I also agree that Dumbledore was not begging for HIS life in his death scene, but for Harry's (two brooms = Snape's not an idiot).

Snape is evil. If he wasn't why the hell he helped Voldemort and he killed Dumbledore????
 God, I still can't believe that Dumbledore is dead
