Well, I have read an article at http://mugglenet.com and I have become semi-convinced that Snape is portraying a facade to all but Dumbledore. I also agree that Dumbledore was not begging for HIS life in his death scene, but for Harry's (two brooms = Snape's not an idiot).

Just simply the way he hates Harry & his family and totally favors Slytherins means he's got something to do with them. and obviously, many Slytherin's parents were Death Eaters.
edited/ although Snape is conspicuously bad, the stories usually end with the bad guy really as someone you'd never thought it'd be. So Snape won't be one of the 'ultimate' bad guys in the end, i guarantee it. |
