Embarrassing Moment(s) v. 1 Options

i was just remembering a time recently when my whole family-- aunts, uncles, cousins, grandpas, fiances, dogs-- we all went to virginia to visit my older cousin and her family (cutest children on the earth!! )
anyway, we went to virginia beach. i just LOVE it when the whole family is together, especially at the beach, cause we're just in the waves, gettin soaked and everything.. its just so much fun laughin, etc.
so we're all on the beach, and me and my cousins, my mom and some others are in a group and we're facing the shore, and a big wave comes, and my lose bottom piece slips under about an inch! my uncle is behind me and so are a few other people and they're all just CRACKING UP. it was soo funny. i was totally embarrassed too, but we're the kinda family that just gets over it, while thinkin its just TOTALLY FUNNY. which it was. i still cant live up to it today, cause i was like mortified.
just thought u mite wanna hear about a funny moment i had this summer, i got a few more! nothin can be too bad-- anyone else have any?..

My family and I went to this nice restaurant on the beach while we were in Florida. Afterwards, we went outside in front of the restuarant on the beach. My brother, who is quite the prankster, thought it would be extremely humorous if he threw one of my sister's shoes into a palm tree. He just wanted to scare my sister, he wasn't actually aiming to get the shoe in the tree. But guess what! He did! It stuck right up there in between two coconuts.

So, what do we do at a time like this?


My brother, being the brilliant boy he is, takes my sister's other shoe to get the first one down.

Did I mention that the restaurant was made entirely out of glass windows? And the whole restaurant could see us perfectly.

My brother, my sisters, my mother, my father spent 20 minutes trying to get the shoe out of the tree. We had a crowd watching us outside and inside the restaurant!

Random boys were trying to climb the tree to get the shoe.
We had total strangers throwing heavy objects at the palm tree.

Eventually, the other shoe my brother was throwing to get the first one down got stuck too!

So, we gave up.
& my sister went home shoeless.
