Everything is one the website starting today. It made its first appearance at MACWORLD 2007 which started today !!! I wasn't that interested in the iPhone hype to begin with; I use a cell phone to make phone calls (gasp!) and that's about it. Having said that, I was impressed by the iPhone—in a geek sort of way. It's pretty cool. Not cool enough for me to buy one, because I have no use for almost all of the features, and there are other phones with pretty interfaces that are a lot cheaper; but for a combination cell phone/music player/address book/navigator/mobile web browser/mobile email device/PDA, it's pretty cool.
I'm mostly impressed that it runs OS X. Granted, some stuff must've been stripped out, but still, that's pretty nice. I'm hoping that means that third-party apps can run on the iPhone—and without much modification. That would be truly innovative. |
