I've heard several people say "Have no regrets.", and I've always been struck by it. Do you believe that it's good advice? Do you or have you followed that rule?

I myself prefer to keep regrets; keeping regrets keeps me in check by preventing future mistakes, but I understand where the phrase comes from, since why live life if you're just going to regret everything? My friends have explained to me that they follow the phrase because they believe that everything happens for a reason. I find it difficult to learn from my mistakes if I say that they were just meant to be, however, I understand that many people (including some of my best friends) don't feel that way.

A lot of people say in my school, senior year blows, nothing will happen, and forget about what you did in the years before and just do great in your senior year. All the people who said that, regret everything, they wished they had done better in those previous years. So.. in my opinion, people choose to do things. And sometimes, regret after.
