I've heard several people say "Have no regrets.", and I've always been struck by it. Do you believe that it's good advice? Do you or have you followed that rule?

I myself prefer to keep regrets; keeping regrets keeps me in check by preventing future mistakes, but I understand where the phrase comes from, since why live life if you're just going to regret everything? My friends have explained to me that they follow the phrase because they believe that everything happens for a reason. I find it difficult to learn from my mistakes if I say that they were just meant to be, however, I understand that many people (including some of my best friends) don't feel that way.

I think everyone has regrets but I think that having regrets has been a link to weakness in a lot of people but I don't think that's true. I think the meaning is more towards doing what you believe in and being more headstrong. shrug.gif I don't regret many things that I've done because I've spoke my mind and I'm pretty stubborn.
