O.k First of all i just want to say I'm in the U.S. Airforce & I'm Stationed In germany on a airbase. But the thing is before i came to germany I had a girlfriend and well it was going well until i told her i was going to be overseas. But it didnt bother me much until you live in a total different society and your trying to get use to the language, money, and way of life. I'm use to it now since i been here for a year, but i wish i can find someone i can love. but its not easy for 2 military people to date (long story) it deals with rank and who makes more money or your love can be sent to a other base. and by the way germans are cool friends and thats all. well what will you do if you was overseas from everything you loved like friends and familes

I can't really help because I've never been in that sort of situation.
I have moved overseas, leaving my friends behind but I was young and with my family. The first few months were hard because everything and everyone was so different, there were so many things to learn. I hung around other westerners mainly because we had more things in common. But I don't know if you really want to know about me, so anyways..... Are there any expacts living where you are in Germany, as it would be easy for you to relate to each other as you are both in similar circumstances. But also think of how luckly you are, not many people get to experience different cultures and travel around the word. Make the most of it, meet as many people as you can and try to experience everything because you will miss it when you go back home. |
