People living in the low-class ghetto-hood rock better, more high-priced gear than people do in richer, high-class towns?

![]() ..Okay, so I say all of this being someone who lives (and has lived) in one of these places you're talking about, so don't bash on me for looking down on people. ![]() Sometimes I feel like people who might be considered "lower class" tend to save things more than people with a lot of money. Growing up, I'd get one nice gift for each major holiday, and we'd hold onto these things for years until we absolutely HAD to throw them away. People who can afford to make big purchases throw shit away all the time, they don't need to hold onto everything they buy. If you went through a lot to get something, you can't bear to let yourself just throw it away, yeah? So maybe they have a lot of nice stuff, but it took them a while to get it. Along the same lines, my dad's house was always cluttered. He NEVER threw anything away, so it all looked like this huge pile of trash. Eh, anyway, all I'm saying is that people who don't have much money tend to put more of a value on expensive purchases. |
