Is there a way for my layout to be aligned in both Firefox and Internet Explorer?

besides what alvin said, sometimes the _____ with the !important after it has to go on top and sometimes it has to go on bottom. it's kind of weird how it works.
like this... <header> left: 500px!important; left: 490px; (remember you still have to have this for ie) </header> |
