Well i know most of you are asian or from asian decent so that means that your parents are kinda timid about letting you do some things that most other kids do(American). My parents are like that cept there not azn and there not used to "American Teen culture" or they simple dont care. why is this in the girls forum? IDK I will have more responses i suppose.
Well im not aloud to go out, they think im gunna do something bad lol or drugs and im a seinor now... it really sucks but when i do go out I GO OUT. Please dont respond by saying that your parents dont let u do drugs or have sex or drink, really pointless to say that whos parents does....? |

i've earned a lot of my parent's trust. i get good grades, i get things done and have never been in trouble with the law or school or anything.
my curfew is 11 and i can go out whenever as long as im back by 11. i dont even have to tell my parents where i am going or what i'm doing. they got me a car so i can drive around. im not allowed to sleepover very often, but i dont like to anyways. on party nights or like special occasions my curfew is like 2 or 3. but they stay up and make sure i am home by then. im allowed to date. im allowed to have guys in my room as long as the door is open. im not allowed to be at someones house without parents but i do anyways? that's ab it. im korean btw. I'm not allowed to date, go out, and go to Sunday school. Of course, I'm not allowed to get involved with drugs and alcohol or sex. The only music I'm allowed to listen to is classical and traditional stuff. I've never been allowed to a sleepover. I can't go to dances and school activities (like fundraisers) unless they know the adult supervisors are watching me. I can't go on walks alone, and I'm not allowed to be home alone. I can't use the phone unless they know exactly who I'm talking to, what we're talking about, and unless I let them listen in. I'm permanently banned from any sort of instant messenger (haha), and I can't have personal websites. For anything that involves a password, they have to know the password. I can't post pictures online or send pictures. I can't have my own email or account to anything. Nothing I own is actually mine, it's theirs. I sometimes can't close the door to "my room" (it's actually their room, and I'm not allowed to use the radio or cd player... or the snooze button, and etc. There's tons. Basically, my parents are hilarious. ![]() jesus christ girl. i would die.... i argue with my parents a lot to get my privleges though. i got out every night on the weekend too... and sometimes during the week day too. |

jesus christ girl. i would die.... i argue with my parents a lot to get my privleges though. i got out every night on the weekend too... and sometimes during the week day too. It's not really so bad. I was allowed to in early elementary school and they just stopped letting me go to parties around 3rd or 4th grade... ![]() QUOTE RUTH! i wanna hear more so interesting. I wish I could stay out till 12 =/ my parents dont like me driving at night...they think something bad is going to happen Haha, it's kind of the opposite for me. My parents don't like driving and I've got a permit so I just drive them places and stare at walls/do homework until it's time to go. There's not much else I can think of, though. |
