yet another i pod question, help? Options

okay, so i have the new i pod nano and now, since the new way to "charge" the i pod is by computer, it wont erase any of your i pod music if you insert the usb cable into it. well, i just did system recovery a little while ago and really wanted to add some new songs into it. and, aparently, i can't sync any of the new music into my ipod because my ipod is already synced with another library. (my previous library) is there any way to transfer my i pod music into a new library so i can actually add some new songs?

I do this all the time, it's real easy but it takes a while depending on how many songs you got because if you got a buttload of songs it'll take a while to copy them.

First of all plug in your ipod in the computer with the itunes your ipod is synched with. Click on your ipod in the menu to the left where "Library", "Store", and "Playlists" are. Make sure that the box "Enable disk use" is checked. Uncheck the box for "manually manage music and videos" box if it's checked. Then click...

Start > My Computer > Tools > Folder Options > View

And under the little folder icon labeled "Hidden files and folders" click on the circle that says "Show hidden files and folders". Click on ok. Go back to My computer and at the bottom where it shows "Devices with removable storage" it should show the ipod drive. Then click...

The ipod drive, it should be named whatever you named your ipod > ipod control > music

and every single one of those folders contains all of your music. They should be named "F01", "F02", etc. If you don't have the time then you should just drag the whole music folder and drop it somewhere like your deskstop or My Documents and organize it later.

I'd suggest organizing all the music into one folder and just selecting it all and dragging it into itunes. When it's done copying you can just delete that folder because itunes makes a copy of each file anyways.
