does getting your belly pierced hurt???

i want to get my belly pierced but im not sure if it hurts my sister got hers done a few years ago but then it got infected so she took it out... so if you have gotten yours done could u tell me if it hurts or mot and then if you know what are the chances that it could get infected?? im plannin to get it done in a few months if it doesnt hurt that bad so im takin your advice.... 1-10 (10 being the worst pain) how bad did it hurt?

Um, yes. I wouldn't know since I don't have mine pierced, but you can assume it hurts a significant amount more than getting your ears pierced.

^^i disagree. i got mine pierced at the beginning of 8th grade & it hurt far less than my cartilage piercing. (repierced twice and ENLARGED once- oooh the enlarging hurt like a mofo). it hurts just a little, but in the end the pain (minimal) is totally worth it.

When I said ears, I meant like your earlobe. Cartilage is naturally going to hurt more since it's actually somewhat solid...
