I remember coming upon someone's LJ entry about how milk comes in bags in Canada. People were so amused.
You can buy a milk pitcher so the milk bag fits snugly into it. Milk also comes in paper cartons but rarely in those gallon jugs. Bags are definitely more common. Does anyone want me to take a picture of it? |

If so, I'm part of a community for Five Iron Frenzy fans, and they have a song called "Oh, Canada" - a line says, "We all think it's kind of a drag that you have to go there to get milk in a bag." So someone posted pictures for us so we'd have a reference. XD But yeah, I think I linked to the post because I thought it was funny. I would never have known about the "milk in a bag" thing if it wasn't for that song. |
